With the world and the industry placing a much greater value on sustainability, energy consumption and zero carbon targets, the acquisition of the Liebherr LR1250.1, 250-tonne lattice jib crawler crane is one of the latest investments Select has made to contribute towards a zero-carbon ambition, and will soon be joined by three LR1160.1 160-tonne lattice jib crawler cranes.
The crawler enjoys the same performance as its diesel-powered counterparts, whether unplugged or plugged.
Quieter in operation when compared to its diesel-powered equivalents, the Liebherr 1250.1 also contributes towards noise management; of particular value to sites bounded by neighbours.
