Mark joined Select in 2005 and has since held a number of roles across its Europe and Australia hubs, and most recently as operations leader in Europe.
Speaking about his new role, Mark said:
“I’m thrilled to have been appointed as Business Unit Leader for Select. Having been with the business since 2005, I am looking forward to driving Select forward and focusing on sustainable solutions for our clients.”
Specialist Trading Business Group Director, Peter Lyons, said:
“Since joining the business nearly two decades ago, Mark has been instrumental in shaping and driving the Select business, both here in Europe and during the three and a half years he spent as Operations Manager in Australia.
“He has helped position Select as the UK’s market leader for lifting solutions and has grown our sustainable, electric fleet.”
Eddy Carr will step up to take over Mark’s previous role as Operations Leader. Eddy first joined Select in 2014 as a product leader for tower cranes before going on to become the business’ lifting business stream leader.
Clare Rodgers and Julie Beckwith have also been promoted within Select to Lifting Business Stream Leader and Logistics Business Stream Leader respectively.
