Select worked with the local authority to ensure minimal disruption in this high-profile area throughout the installation.
A steel support structure had to be erected in order to span the road below. Due to the increased complexity of the design process and installation, extra consideration had to be given to work at height and service routes.
Detailed programmes of installation were produced and monitored. Detailed safe systems of work were also produced, which addressed all hazards associated with the installation using best practice.
